Gariguette Strawberry – Maison Perrotte
Its name comes from the address of a researcher from the team that developed this variety, who lived in Chemin des Gariguettes, in Châteauneuf-de-Gadagne, in the Vaucluse.
These strawberries were grown in sustainable agriculture by Mr. Xavier Burban in La Baule. They are prepared in an artisanal way with cooking in a copper cauldron over an open fire, with much more fruit and less sugar than in a “traditional” jam.
